Natural Hair Loss Remedy

There is no single way to treat hair loss, the following natural hair loss remedies have been used to some people and actually worked.

Psyllium husk

Fiber is important to keep the body and scalp healthy. Unfortunately, most North American diets lack the much needed natural fiber to cleanse the toxins and move waste from the colon. Psyllium husk effectively removes the waste of the body by gently scrubbing the walls of the colon which helps the hair to stay healthy.

Hypnotherapy

There is no direct link between hair loss and hypnosis but one study suggests that hypnotherapy as treatment to anxiety and depression (some of the causes of hair loss) may work. According to this study, hypnotherapy reduces the level of anxiety and depression to the 28 people with severe alopecia universalis, alopecia totalis, or alopecia areata who did not react to usual hair loss treatments. Significant hair regrowth by as much as 100% was observed to 12 individuals after undergoing 3 to 8 hypnotherapy sessions. Among the 12, 9 experienced total hair regrowth. While there are some major limitations in the study, it suggests that hypnotherapy may work on some people.

Aromatherapy

One study suggests that aromatherapy is a good hair loss remedy. Essential oils of lavender, rosemary, cedarwood, and thyme mixed with oil can stimulate hair growth when applied on areas of hair loss.

Proper Diet

Severe weight loss as caused by crash diet can result to hair loss. This is because certain nutrients needed to maintain healthy scalp are missing. Make sure that you receive the right amount of vitamins and minerals especially vitamins A, B6, C and E, iron, silica, calcium, folic acid, zinc, biotin, sodium, potassium, para-aminobenzoic acid, and pantothenic acid among others. You can get these from fruits, vegetables, poultry, meat, fish, eggs, beans, whole grain, seeds, and nuts.

There are lots of ways to treat hair loss but if everything seems to fail, try any of the given hair loss remedies. Who knows? It may be the solution to your problem.
